FAQs

What is the best way to brew loose-leaf tea?

The simplest way is to use an infuser that gives your herbs enough room to expand. Add your Veda blend, pour over hot water and allow it to steep before removing the herbs. For our blends, we generally recommend 1/3 teaspoon per 200 mL of water and 3–5 minutes of steeping at around 90°C.

How much loose-leaf tea should I use?

For Veda Station blends, start with approximately 1/3 teaspoon per 200 mL of water. You can always adjust the amount or steeping time depending on how strong you like your tea.

Why shouldn't I overfill my tea infuser?

Your herbs need space to expand and move through the water. Overfilling can restrict the infusion and prevent the botanicals from fully releasing their flavour and aroma.

What is the Veda Tea Infuser made from?

The Veda Tea Infuser is made from 304 stainless steel, making it durable, reusable and easy to clean.

What is the Veda Glass Teapot made from?

The Veda Glass Teapot is made from heat-resistant borosilicate glass and features a removable stainless steel infuser.

How does healthy digestion support gut health?

Healthy digestion plays an important role in overall gut health. When the body is able to properly break down food and absorb nutrients, it supports balanced digestion, steady energy, and overall wellbeing. Herbal infusions traditionally used for digestion can be a gentle way to support this natural process.

How much tea does the Veda Glass Teapot hold?

The teapot holds 750 mL, making it ideal for approximately two generous cups or three smaller cups.

Can I use the Veda Tea Infuser with any loose-leaf tea?

Yes. It's designed for loose-leaf tea and herbal blends, making it a simple everyday tool for your favourite Veda Station infusion or other loose botanicals.

Can I put the Veda Glass Teapot straight onto a stovetop?

No. The teapot is designed for brewing with hot water rather than direct stovetop heating. Pour hot water into the teapot and allow your herbs to infuse.

Why choose loose-leaf tea over tea sachets?

Because whole herbs have power.

Loose botanicals have space to open, expand and release their full flavour, aroma and herbal character into your cup, creating a richer, more potent infusion than a tightly packed sachet.

You also control the amount and strength of every brew.

More herbs. More depth. More ritual.

Love the Vata blend

I’m not usually a tea drinker, but knowing the story behind this blend gave me a sense of grounding and feeling loved and supported from afar. I reach for it when I want to feel calm. The flavour is very unique and feels much more special to drink than something that was store bought. A peaceful moment that shifts my mood!

My Detox journey

I’m really impressed with this detox tea from Veda. The flavour is smooth and well balanced, and the herbs work really well together. It’s one of the best detox teas I’ve had, especially for helping with water retention. It’s aromatic, easy to drink, and works well as a natural diuretic. The packaging is beautiful, and Cali gave great guidance in helping me choose the right option. Overall, a great experience from start to finish.
